About these terms

roofcheck.co.uk and the client dashboard at my.roofcheck.co.uk are operated by Allbase Group Ltd, and Roofcheck is its trading name. Using either means accepting these terms. They were last reviewed on 13 October 2026.

Using the site

The site is here to explain commercial roof surveys and where they are carried out, and to take a request for a free quote or a message. The client dashboard is where a client follows their surveys, approves a quote and opens a report.

Do not attempt to interfere with the site or the dashboard, reach anyone else’s surveys, send anything unlawful or misleading through either, or collect data from them by automated means beyond ordinary search indexing.

What the content is, and is not

Guidance here describes what each kind of roof survey finds and how it is carried out, in general. It is written with care, but it is general information rather than advice about one particular roof.

What a survey finds on your roof is in its report. The sample reports and the dashboard pictures on this site are illustrations, not findings.

Text, images, drawings and the design of this site belong to Allbase Group Ltd or are used under licence. Quoting a short passage with a link back is fine; republishing whole pages is not.

Quotes and surveys

Asking for a quote commits you to nothing. A survey is carried out under the quote you approve and the Roofcheck survey terms, which cover the survey itself in place of these terms.

What you send

Sending a quote request or a message, or approving a quote, confirms that the details you give are accurate as far as you know, and that you are entitled to share any photograph or document you attach.

Personal data in anything you send is handled as the privacy policy sets out.

Using the client dashboard

Your dashboard account opens when you confirm the email address you gave with a quote request, and it shows the surveys requested from that address. Signing in takes only a code sent to that address, so anyone who can read its email can sign in.

Keep access to that email account secure, don’t pass a sign-in code on, and sign out on a device other people use. If you think someone else has signed in, or the address should change, call the survey team on 0113 868 0097.

Approving a quote on the dashboard confirms that you are authorised to accept it, for yourself or for the organisation it is for.

A report on your dashboard is yours to download and pass on to the people you work with on the building, such as an owner, a tenant, an agent, an insurer or a contractor. Passing it on gives them no right to rely on it, and who can is set out in the survey terms.

The account stays open until you ask for it to be closed, or until it is closed because it has been misused or these terms have been broken.

To ask, write to privacy@allbase.co.uk. Once the account is closed you can no longer sign in, and the records of your surveys are kept, then deleted, as the privacy policy sets out.

Our tools

All measurements, calculations and estimates provided by Roofcheck’s online tools are for guidance purposes only and should not be relied upon as definitive or technically accurate. Results should be independently verified through a professional roof survey or assessment before undertaking any works or making decisions. Roofcheck accepts no liability for any loss, damage or costs arising from reliance on these results, to the fullest extent permitted by UK law.

Links to other sites

Pages here link to other sites, such as councils, hospitals and universities on the location pages, and Google Maps for directions to the office. Those sites are run by others, and what they publish and how they handle data is theirs to answer for.

Availability

The site and the dashboard are kept available so far as is reasonable, without a guarantee that either is uninterrupted or free of error. Pages, the dashboard and the surveys described can change, and parts can be withdrawn, without notice.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited under law. Subject to that, liability for loss arising from use of this site or the dashboard, or from reliance on the site’s general guidance in place of a survey, is excluded so far as the law allows.

Liability for a survey and its report is set out in the survey terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
